What exactly is the SHIDO Foundation?
A daily basic formula with nine vitamins and minerals, developed by two pharmacists with a background in martial arts. The formula covers the nutrients the body relies on daily, in forms that are well absorbed.
What's in it?
You can find the details of all ingredients via the following link. There you will discover the composition, the active substances, and their function. We only use proven, active ingredients and strive to always use scientifically substantiated dosages.
Why 3 capsules per day and not 1?
This is a matter of volume. The magnesium alone requires 1450 mg of powder, which physically cannot fit into a single capsule. A lower dosage would solve the problem, as would switching to magnesium oxide, which is more compact. However, oxide is absorbed significantly less effectively. The choice for three capsules follows from that trade-off.
How do we guarantee that the capsules are safe?
Our capsules are produced under the strictest quality requirements and have received the necessary quality labels. We do not work with toxic substances and test our capsules with every batch.
Where is the product made?
Our capsules are produced in the Netherlands, by a manufacturer with HACCP certification and ISO 22000.
USAGE
How do I take it?
Take 3 capsules daily, with or after a meal, with a glass of water. We recommend taking the capsules with dinner.
Can I combine it with creatine, whey, or a pre-workout?
Yes, SHIDO Foundation is designed to exist alongside those products and operates on a different layer.
Can I open the capsules?
If you have difficulty swallowing, you may open the capsules and mix them into something like a small pot of yogurt.
